Salt Lake City, Utah – A-Core Concrete Specialists played a key role in the historic Salt Lake Temple renovation, a high-profile project for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints’ international headquarters.
The project involved a major seismic upgrade, requiring excavation approximately 20 feet below the existing foundation to install advanced base isolation systems. A-Core’s skilled crews brought expertise in concrete work, structural support, and precision demolition techniques, including wire sawing, wall sawing, flat sawing, core drilling, and robotic demolition.

This project was a collaborative effort with industry partners, combining cutting-edge technology with decades of concrete experience to preserve the temple’s historic integrity while ensuring modern safety standards.

“Working on the Salt Lake Temple blends technical skill with historic preservation,” said Jake Rodger, CEO of A-Core Concrete Specialists. “Our team is proud to contribute to such a landmark project.”
